Welcome to the Triangle Curling Club

We are in our 13th year of operation in the Raleigh, North Carolina metropolitan area.

So, you found yourself glued to curling on the tube. You're totally enchanted by the mind-bending strategy, the furious sweeping, and the precision shot-making. The fast-paced action made your head spin! (Okay, so we exaggerate a bit) And now you want to know more about this great Olympic sport, right?

Well, once again the Triangle Curling Club is welcoming new members. Why spend the winter months staring at the TV when you could be making new friends, getting a bit of exercise and having a great time?

Come on out! Find out more about it on our membership page, which contains information about our club, how to join, and whom to contact if you have any other questions.

Curling Camp for Governor Morehead School for the Blind
Sunday, 2008 June 15 - 1:40 pm
As we did last year we are once again joining forces with the Governor Morehead School for the Blind in Raleigh to offer a summer curling camp for the kids at GMS. The camp session will be from 1-3 PM on Tuesday June 24th at the Factory Ice House. If you are interested in volunteering to help with this event please contact Sue Mitchell at mnmiga@yahoo.com. This is a great opportunity to help the kids from GMS and I know from personal experience last year that this was a great event. Even if you are not a very experienced curler you can help out with this event, so please contact Sue for more information.

Pick-up Curling
Sunday, 2008 June 15 - 1:39 pm
This year the Triangle Curling Club will be holding 2 pick-up curling sessions over the summer which are great opportunities for new and experienced curlers to maintain or improve their skills in advance of the fall season starting. This summer we will be offering 2 pick-up sessions, one on Friday June 20th from 8-10 PM, and the other on Friday July 18th from 8-10 PM. Both these sessions will be $20/person for existing members and $15 for first time curlers, payable at the session. Anyone is welcome to attend whether you are a TCC member or not. If you are new or have friends who would like to come out and try curling let us know so we will be able to arrange for instructors to be available to teach during the sessions.

Please contact the club to sign-up for the sessions in advance through the pick-up curling email address at pickupcurling@trianglecurling.com.
