Triangle Curling Club attends the Valor Games
Submitted by Chris on May 25, 2013 - 10:36On Tuesday, May 21st, the Triangle Curling Club joined Bridge II Sports to participate in the Valor Games Southeast. This is a three-day competition in adapted sports for wounded and injured service members held in Raleigh, Durham and Chapel Hill.
The Club had the opportunity to set up an informational table at the Dean Smith Center to promote the club and our effort to create curling programs for those in wheelchairs and with other special needs.
Special thanks to club members Pam, Amy, Lance, Keith, Cliff and Lea. And a special thanks Tony Colaccio, who came down from Cape Cod, to help out.
